Monticello - Stoney Point, NY

Monticello was the only place I slept indoor of all these days and after a frustrating evening of getting lost it was well received. The next day for lunch still on the 17k near Montgomery
I intuitively turned into this drive way, and met Ed Weber, nice new found friend who amongst many other thing, has a bunch of been hives an makes his own honey, he gave me some and lots of tomatoes and Chinese chestnut. it turns out he has some bikes that he would be willing to donate to BWB in the future...

After lunch I had a nice ride down through Hwy 218, it was a very nice road to ride on, with a lush forest and rockside of the mountain view of the Hudson river...
